This is typical of Sony, or at least my experiences since I purchased the dcr-hc46 video that there is little to no support. After five hours of fruitless effort I will dig up my old XP PC and try that since I have the driver for that one which worked!! SPU Download Manager refuses to believe that I'm connected to the web, that my camcorder is connected to my computer and that the computer recognizes the camcorder and so I continually get a message to check these things and can go no further with the installation of PMB.
